Episode 1 - Why Children’s Spirituality Matters

In our very first episode of Blessed Uncertainty, we introduce the season’s focus on children’s spirituality and why it matters for the life of the Church. We share stories from our own childhoods, reflect on how children are often overlooked or treated as “less than” in faith spaces, and wonder what it means to honor their agency as full participants in God’s story.

Children are the most vulnerable people group on earth—often underserved, underestimated, and seen only as “future adults.” But every child already lives in God’s presence. Their spirituality isn’t something we give them, but something we’re invited to honor and protect.
